City of Circleville

The City of Circleville has postponed the State of the City address scheduled for Thursday, January 29. The event will now be held on Thursday, February 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ministry and Performing Arts Center at Ohio Christian University.
The decision comes as Thursday evening temperatures are expected to drop, many residents and neighboring communities continue digging out from the recent snowfall, and Ohio Christian University facilities crews continue treating parking lots and walkways.
“This wasn’t an easy call,” said Mayor Michelle L. Blanton. “As we talk about building our city and our future together in 2026, we also have to make sure people can get there safely.”
The City thanks residents and partners for their understanding and looks forward to sharing the State of the City on February 5.
