Features:
A boundless playground allows children with different physical, developmental, cognitive and sensory abilities to enjoy the playground environment. There are accessible pathways and surfacing and the play structures support child development
There is a small shelter with 2 picnic tables at the edge of
the playground. (this shelter is not rented)
There are several benches located around the perimeter of
the playground
Splash Pad
Features:
Splash pad is available seasonally from Memorial Day
weekend thru Labor Day. Hours are 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Wetlands
Features:
Wetlands are characterized by low-lying areas that are covered
or saturated by water during part of each year. This results in
specialized wet soil types and water dependent plants.
The wetland of Ohio include marshes, swamps, bogs and fens.
They vary by degree of wetness, soil characteristics and
vegetation type
Butterfly Garden & Bird Watching

Many people enjoy birdwatching as a recreational activity and
the Mary Virginia Crites Hannan park provides ample
opportunities to watch birds in their natural environment
The butterfly garden is growing into a beautiful landscape,
which also attracts butterflies during certain months. Butterfly
attracting plants were incorporated into the park’s
landscaping design
Walking/Biking/Hiking Trails

According to the mayo clinic, walking is a low-impact, exercise
that provides numerous health benefits. It is a form of exercise
