Responsible for the repairs and handles the replacement of all water main lines (approx. 60 miles)
Responsible for the installation, testing and replacement of all water meters (approx. 5508)
Responsible for the locating of water main lines
Reads all meters for billing purposes
Responsible for the repair and/or replacement of all fire hydrants (approx. 700)
The department flushes the entire water system on an annual basis.
