WATER METER MONITORING FOR CUSTOMER USE
The City of Circleville, Department of Utilities has completed the implementation of an upgraded meter reading system. This advanced technology is designed to enhance your customer service experience, empower you to better manage your water consumption throughout the month, and proactively identify troublesome leaks.
My Water Advisor 2.0 easily allows you to access your account via a web-ready device (computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone application) in real-time while providing the following benefits.
- Create monthly water budgets
- Proactively conserve water
- Address high consumption during the month – not after it’s too late when the bill arrives
- Be notified of leaks throughout the month to address them promptly
You, the customer, can now monitor your water meter and see the same information that the Utilities Office sees on your meter. Meter readings are obtained hourly, so it is easy to see if you have had water usage during times when you know you were away or asleep. You can set alerts so that you’ll receive an email or text if you have used more water than your typical usage, or if the system has detected a leak. This is a great option for those times you are away on vacation or your home is temporarily vacant.
You can access your water meter on a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The My Water Advisor 2.0 cellular app is available on Apple iOS and Android devices.
To register, you’ll use the “sign up with account number” method. When the system prompts for your Full Name, you’ll need to enter it exactly as it appears on your invoice. This typically begins with your last name.
