The City of Circleville Water Treatment Plant produces an average of 1.3 to 1.8 million gallons of water per day.
The Water Plant has five (5) production wells with an average of 130′ depth. The wells pump water from the Teays Water Aquifer.
The Water Plant has six (6) iron and manganese sand filters. These remove iron and manganese to a level below .04 mg/l of iron and .01 mg/l of manganese.
The Water Plant feeds Chlorine for disinfection and oxidation and Fluoride for dental health.
The City of Circleville has hard water (25 grains/gallon) and is clean and safe for your consumption.
