ABOUT THE WATER DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT:

The Water Distribution Department is responsible for maintaining the City of Circleville’s water infrastructure. Our key responsibilities include:

• Water Main Lines: We oversee approximately 60 miles of water main lines, including repairs and replacements as necessary.

• Water Meters: We manage approximately 5,508 water meters, including installation, testing, and replacement as needed.

• Fire Hydrants: We oversee the flushing, repair, and as-needed replacement of approximately 700 fire hydrants.

• Annual Water Line Flushing: We conduct annual water line flushing, typically in September each year.
